JULY 20 PRIMARY RESULTS

Our recent July 20th Primary shows that the Republicans are energized in our county.  While some races are only shown as part of their total count, others clearly show how November will shake out.  In the U.S. Senate, Rockdale voters out voted Democrats and that is after totaling up all the candidates on their side.

This file contains the summarized votes for all races for the July 20th Primary.    It is broken down by race then by party.  At the end of this report is the Republican question on the Marta issue and the vote totals for the SPLOST.  It is clear that light rail and other Marta systems are not wanted here as indicated by the 4 to 1 votes to keep it out.
